The NPL 2024 Playoffs will follow a format similar to other major T20 leagues, including the Indian Premier League, where the top four teams from the points table after the league stage compete in a series of matches to determine the champion.

In the NPL 2024 Playoffs, the top two teams on the points table will face off in Qualifier 1. The winner of this match will secure a direct spot in the final, while the loser will have another chance to make it to the final through Qualifier 2. In this second qualifier, the loser of Qualifier 1 will take on the winner of the Eliminator match, which is contested between the third and fourth placed teams on the points table.

Over the course of the next 18 days, a total of 32 matches will be played, including those in the playoff stage. All matches, including the final, will be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, with the grand finale scheduled for December 21, 2024.
