SEE Result 2083  Expected Publish Date

SEE (Secondary Education Examination) 2082 was conducted from the last week of Chaitra 2082 (March-April 2026). Considering past trends and notifications by authorities, the release of SEE result is expected in the following dates:

The previous year’s SEE results were 2-3 months after the completion of the examinations. This year’s schedule differs from the earlier ones hence, it will be available in June/starting Jestha.

How to Check SEE Result 2083 Online  Step by Step

Once the result is published, follow these steps to check your result online:

Method 1 Official NEB Portal (see.ntc.net.np)

  1. Go to http://see.ntc.net.np using either your PC or mobile device.
  2. Choose “SEE Result 2083” from the list of available results.
  3. Type your Symbol Number (written on your admit card).
  4. Provide your Date of Birth in BS format.
  5. Click the “Submit” or “View Result” button.
  6. The SEE Result with marks and GPA will be displayed on your screen.
  7. Save your marksheet by downloading or taking a screenshot.

Method 2 soce.gov.np (Office of Controller of Examinations)

Visit soce.gov.np, click on Results, and enter the same details as above.

This is a popular mirror site. If the official sites are slow due to heavy traffic on result day, try Ekantipur’s result page as an alternative.

💡 Tip: The official website may be very slow on the day the result is published because thousands of students check it at the same time. If it doesn’t load, wait a few minutes and try again, or use the SMS method below.

How to Check SEE Result 2083 via SMS

If you don’t have internet access, you can still check your result by SMS.

  • NTC (Nepal Telecom): Type: SEE [Your Symbol Number] and send to 1600

Example: SEE 12345678 → Send to 1600

  • Ncell: Type: SEE [Your Symbol Number] and send to 35001

This method works on basic phones too. You will receive your result and GPA on your phone within a few minutes.

Lost Your Symbol Number? Here’s What to Do

This is one of the most common problems students face on result day.

If you have lost your admit card or don’t remember your symbol number, do the following:

  • Get in touch with your school The school has all the details of the students, including their symbol numbers. You just need to go to the school and ask for it.
  • Look into your registration Card Your symbol number might also appear on your registration slip or even school identification.
  • Seek assistance from the DEO In extreme situations, the DEO in your area can assist you get back your symbol number.

Do not panic. Your school will have the information. Just reach out to them before result day.

Understanding Your Result  SEE Grading System 2083

SEE results are based on Nepal’s Grade Point Average (GPA) system. There are no percentage marks shown  only grades.

To pass SEE 2083, you need:

  • At least Grade D in every subject
  • An overall GPA of 2.0 or above

If you get NG in even one subject, you are not considered fully passed and will need to appear in the supplementary exam.

What If You Fail? SEE Supplementary Exam 2083

Getting NG grades in one or two subjects doesn’t end all hopes. The supplementary exam is another chance that NEB provides for students getting NG grades.

Here is how it works:

  • When you receive NG grade in 1 or 2 subjects, you are eligible to take up the supplementary exam.
  • For failure in more than 2 subjects, you will have to sit for SEE again next year.
  • Usually, the supplementary exam is conducted after 1 or 2 months from the result declaration.
  • NEB announces the supplementary exam form fill-up date after the result. Watch for official announcements.
  • To pass the supplementary exam, you must score at least Grade D in the subject(s) you failed.

Many students clear the supplementary examination and join class 11 successfully. Don’t lose hope if you don’t pass on the first attempt.

Scholarship After SEE Result 2083

If you score well in SEE, you may be eligible for government scholarships for Class 11 and 12. Here are the basics:

  • Merit-based scholarships are offered by the Government of Nepal through NEB for students with high GPA scores.
  • Dalits, students from economically weak families, and students with disabilities may qualify for special scholarships regardless of GPA.
  • Scholarship applications are usually open after the result is published and after the +2 admission process begins.
